Our World Around Us topic during Term 1 has been "Trees". We have been learning to recognise the difference between the leaves and seeds of 4 trees: the sycamore tree, the oak tree, the horse chestnut tree and the beech tree. We have also learnt about deciduous and evergreen trees and have done research into trees found in other countries, such as the palm tree and the mangrove tree. In addition we have found out what produce we get from trees! We have also found out what products are made from wood.
