As part of our topic 'Celebrations', we conducted an investigation into whether we could blow up a balloon without using any air. P4/5BY made very interesting predictions and insightful observations.  We discovered that the vinegar in the bottle reacted with the baking soda in the balloon. This created a gas called Carbon Dioxide and caused the balloon to inflate!
