Believe, Persevere, Succeed

P.2 PS

P2PS have been enjoying learning through play in our playroom as well as outside.  They have been developing so many skills, including building relationships, problem-solving, improving hand-eye coordination and being creative.  All while having fun!

Autism Awareness Week

For Autism Awareness Week we thought about how we could each show superhero skills at home and in school.  P2PS are certainly a heroic class!  On Friday 23rd April all pupils dressed up as a hero.  Some were superheroes and some were dressed as everyday heroes.   We discussed the different strengths we each had and what made each of us a hero.  How can you be a hero today?

Today (5th November) we joined classes all around the world in celebrating Outdoor Classroom Day.  We searched the park for natural materials to fill our own versions of Mrs Honey’s Hat from our shared reading book.

After searching for our materials, we carefully wove them in through strings to attach them to our hats.  We even found a pretty feather - just like in the story!

We celebrated the end of our Nursery Rhyme Topic by having a dress up day.  Can you guess which characters we dressed up as?
As part of Maths Week we went on a Pattern Scavenger Hunt in the playground.
