We had great fun at the Coaching for Christ Festival Day. Everyone has really developed in their football skills and were able to show off skilled passes, on-target shots at goal, controlled dribbling and excellent teamwork. ⚽️ Thank you to all the coaches for a great day - and for all your input through the year.
We were exploring the various sounds we could make with percussion instruments. Then we created a sound story to accompany all the events of the Titanic, from its construction to its sinking.
We were learning outdoors today as we imagined what it would be like to explore the rainforest. We gathered round the campfire and enjoyed toasting marshmallows and making s’mores. We discussed different ideas for a rainforest adventure to inspire us for creative writing.
In Numeracy we have been learning all about triangles. We used the Geoboards to explore the different ways we could make triangles and we were able to say whether they were scalene, isosceles, equilateral or right-angled. Everyone showed great persistence until we had discovered all eight solutions!
As part of our rainforest topic, we have been doing different types of art. We enjoyed creating interesting effects of rainforest animals by cutting strips of paper from different photos and alternating them.
