As part of the school's Middleton Community Project, P7 children have the opportunity to apply for a job in the TV Studio. Children undertake the roles of Programme Producers, Script Editors, News Presenters, Vision and Audio Mixers, Camera Operators and Teleprompter Operators.

Two editions of the Middleton News programme are produced each term.
